Enjoy the End of the Year Festivities!

30 December 2024 at 10h40

To end 2024 on a happier note, I’m sharing with you a drawing that I created for my friends’ wedding announcement, which took place this month:

This event and its sidelines (hen party, activities on D day, etc.) kept us all busy for a consequent part of the year. In addition to the wedding announcement, invitation cards, leaflets and other stickers were added (see example below):

Once arrived at the place, it was a joy to discover that my work was appearing on several media:

The biggest surprise being the recreation of the arch for the ceremony, that I initially used as a background in the drawing (at first I thought it was a joke, when the bride and groom told me that! But it wasn’t and the decorator did very well to transcribe it! ).

In the end, mission accomplished! Both bride and groom are over the moon after an amazing day full of Love! Thank you to them for the trust they placed in me.

Have a great end of the year and a wonderful New Year’s Eve!

Ps: this work was an exception, I don’t take orders ok!? ;p

Grandma is in Heaven

27 December 2024 at 14h27

My little grandma passed away at the end of October 2024…
I wanted to pay her a final tribute in drawing, but I was so busy with various events that it was only now that I was able to get around to it. She was among the last of her generation at large family tables and was eager to join those who had left her long before.

My very sweet, very cute little granny, so frail that when the wind picked up, I sometimes wondered if you weren’t going to fly away.

So fly away, my little granny, let yourself be carried away by the wind and finally join them in heaven.
I imagine you now happy, celebrating with them, a big smile from ear to ear around a large table full of good food. You must be so happy to be by their side now.
I’m going to miss you.

I love you very much.

One of Australia’s special charms…

They might look impressive with their neon yellow crest, these birds are nevertheless very mischievous.

Here is an example of a cockatoo biting, for example, the tails of poor kangaroos: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lx78TqH0HIE&ab_channel=GeoBeatsAnimals

If you’ve never heard the sound of the beast, take a look on Youtube: https://youtu.be/s2BmSSDKrjA?si=p_sw_isMm94LZlaT

Happy listening! Or not.

Was it really worth it?

So many years spent working on my English, learning elegant and polite sentences…and all these efforts got shattered upon arrival in Singapore.

Can you believe this?

Happy summer holidays everyone, whether you are on a language study holiday or not!

I think it’s trying to send me a message. Like to stop being a glutton.

Happy egg hunting everyone!

The not so very reassuring things…

This is how to spend your Zen session freaking out in case the masseuse would break your neck…

Next time I’ll choose hammam if I want to relax. Less risky 😉

Have a nice week my darlings,

Do you have the same issue?
If you know THE recipe that pleases everyone, feel free to share it please! It would help a lot!

On a different note, I am super happy to inform you of the release of my new logo that you will now find on my drawings:

We created it with the amazing graphic designer Cindy Guibouin of Vision Design.

We worked hard for many days to get this beautiful result. I hope you will like it as much as we do!

If you need customed graphics for your logos / business cards / flyers or other, do not hesitate to contact her! She will be happy to accompany you throughout your project.

Enjoy your meal my friends! With or without any gluten 😉

Earmuffs maybe?

Enjoying the swimming pool – Yes!
Enjoying the swimming pool with 80dB of continuous jackhammers / planes / construction works etc. – No.
I feel the desire to live isolated in a bubble (I mean, phonically isolated) sometimes.
Or, to live in a vast field without any neighbours… Aaaaw, that’d be sooo good…

Bye Bye dear mask!

28 February 2022 at 17h38

From this Monday, February 28 onwards, wearing a mask indoors will no longer be compulsory in certain public places in France.
The mask will have protected us for 2 years from the virus, however, it will be a pleasure to remove it and feel the fresh wind caress our face.
That said, by dint of use during all these months, I confess that I ended up finding qualities other than the original one:
