To those who have traveled a long time: what impressed you the most when you returned? Lots of love, Malika Smith
Life is short, quickly sort it and avoid wasting time… Have a good tidying! 😉 Malika Smith
It’s been more than two years since I tried to publish a note about my return from Australia (Yeah, it was ages ago…), but every time I would work on the sketches, I’d stop at some point, finding an excuse or a so-called priority, not to put myself in it. And then it would never come out… I finally found a way to finish this damn note (in a somewhat expeditious mode, I reckon…). Metaphorical dirty summary of a period not very funny… Malika Smith
I can’t help remembering him again in the garden, teaching me the basics of gardening. He, dexterous, the gesture assured, his hands well placed on his rake (which was twice my size at that time…), observing me with a benevolent eye, while I, clumsy from all of my 3 years of age , was trying very hard not to stain my dear little varnished shoes in the soil… I still had a long way to go at that time…. So I painted this scene, based on a picture I like. Goodbye grandpa. M.S.
Hope you had an amazing Valentine’s Day last night! Sending you rainbowy hugs, Malika Smith
Ok well, don’t judge me: it’s super warm and comfortable… Perfect for this winter! Malika Smith
Did you get any nice gifts last Christmas? Enjoy 2019! 🙂 Malika Smith
May 2019 become a year of creation and personal development!I’ve been postponing my drawings so much last year that I intend to do my best to catch up in the coming months! Well, it’s not enough to say, I’m going to be busy if I want to fulfill my good resolution! Happy New Year to you, wishing you all the best! Lots of love, Malika Smith PS: The otter put on weight as you surely have noticed (yeah, too much turkey and chocolates…), but with a little luck, the adventures of 2019 will help refine its nice silhouette! 😉
