New Blog!

I put my boxes here, my old blog platform having become a little obsolete (and no one online to answer my emails when I had questions…).Here you’ll find my previous posts in English but also in French (follow the small flags).

Special thanks to my super darling, this IT genius, for having solved every problem, every bug with verve!

Without him, I would have already given up any idea to create a WordPress blog.

So welcome to this new platform, we worked hard for it so I hope you like it.

Feel free to leave any comments and share if you like my posts.

See you here for my next comics adventures! 🙂

Kind regards,

Malika Smith

Inktober Part 2

Woop woop!

Finally managed to finish this first Inktober!

Here is the 2nd part!

I finished a bit late, but… oh well…

So here are the 10 days overdue, corresponding to my 10 days vacation in fact…

Despite the delay, I loved meeting this challenge.

Not only has it allowed me to discover new artists, to see what everyone is able to do according to the same theme, but also, it allowed me to work on topics that I would never have dealt with in normal times.

My next year’s schedule will tell me if I’ll take the Inktober 2019 challenge, but for those who still hesitate, I strongly invite you to participate!

Big hugs,

Malika Smith

Inktober Part 1

¡ Hola Todos!

Those who follow me on social networks probably saw it:
I participated for the first time in the Inktober challenge this year!

Here is a summary in two times (yeah, because between two drawings, I went on holiday to Italy so there I am struggling to catch the delay now, that’s clever 😉 )

Last ten drawings to follow soon 😉

Inkely yours,

Malika Smith

PS: As a reminder, this year’s list was as follows:

Acclimatisation

Let us agree:
– it is snowing in England. (again.)
– even if it is only a matter of days, we are  always in winter so can someone explain to me why they put the AC in some offices and cafes??!

If  it’s already on when it is-1 °c outside, what happens in July?

Icyly Yours,

Malika Smith

But how do they??!

When you’re in England and you cross a frozen park by attending this kind of scene called “banal”:

But how do they not freeze to death? Are they equipped with a super powerful internal central heating system or is it?
Because I put on the layers, I remain frozen…
It kills me, just looking at them, I’m even more cold. What’s their secret??!
